Zygomatic Implant

The distance between these points is known as the "Bi-zygomatic distance" and is on average around 130 mm in women and 139 mm in men. Just as there are names for the zygomatic protrusion as a beauty point, this protrusion also forms a part of the ring that forms the "circle of beauty". The underdeveloped or underdeveloped cheekbone, which is so important for beauty appearance, also affects other parts of the face. For example, this problem in the cheekbone is largely effective in sagging cheeks, more prominent nasolabial folds, or lower eye bags becoming evident at a young age.

In some people, we perform a number of augmentation procedures to eliminate this underdevelopment of the cheekbones and to regain the golden ratios of the midface and make people look more beautiful, attractive and attractive. These procedures can be performed with temporary materials such as fillers, as well as the surgical placement of special silicone implants produced for this area. Implant surgery to clarify the cheekbone is a surgical procedure that usually takes 1.5-2 hours, requires the person to stay in the hospital for one night after the surgery, and is performed under general anesthesia. It can be done together with other aesthetic procedures. It can be done inside the mouth with an incision above the upper teeth, or from the outside with an incision made 2-4 mm below the lower eyelid lash line. A pocket is created in the cheekbone area where the silicone implant will be placed. Since people's bone structures vary, this universally produced implant is placed in this pocket by making some personalized arrangements. The placed implant is carefully checked in terms of symmetry, volume and projection. Then, the implant is fixed to the jawbone with 1-2 titanium screws to prevent it from moving, and the external and internal incisions are closed with aesthetic stitches. The patient's cheekbone area is dressed with sterile bandages to prevent swelling and to fix the implant from the outside. Silicone implants, which do not have any permanent negative effects on the bones and soft tissues here, are available in various sizes according to the size of the cheekbones of the person. These implants are applied in our country, as in other countries in the world. If the person wants these implants to be removed after a certain period, these implants, which are made of silicone, can be easily removed by applying anesthesia in the same way.

Additionally, especially for surgeries performed through an incision through the mouth, you should follow a liquid diet for the first few days and oral painkillers may be used for any bothersome pain. Most patients can return to normal activities within seven days. They can be applied together with other aesthetic procedures.
