Mesotherapy Applications
We use mesotherapy as the main topics for face, neck, décolleté area, hand and foot rejuvenation procedures, as well as for scalp and regional thinning, that is, lipolysis. The skin thickness on our face varies regionally. For example, when we give a coefficient of 1 to the thickness of the eyelid skin, we need to know that the skin on the cheek, including the chin and nose tip, is approximately 3-4 times thicker than here. During mesotherapy, pharmacological molecules are injected with tiny needle tips, respecting these thicknesses of the skin. The pharmacological properties of the molecules in the cocktail form mixtures used in mesotherapy, their interactions with each other and their side effect potentials should be well known by the physician performing the application.
If we list some of the effects of mesotherapy; We can summarize it as stimulating the dermis layer of the skin and increasing its density by increasing the production of collagen and elastin, reducing wrinkles and open pores by increasing its tightening and tension, providing regional slimming with its fat-dissolving (lipolytic) effect, and delaying aging by accelerating cell metabolism. Various techniques are used in the application of mesotherapy. However, it should not be used in people with kidney and liver diseases, active acne and skin infections, during pregnancy and breastfeeding, and in people with diseases such as skin cancer and AIDS.
How long will I continue mesotherapy?
Mesotherapy is actually a form of preventive treatment that can stop photoaging and genetic aging of our skin and with regular applications, we can see the difference in our later ages compared to our peers. It is applied in sessions. The interval of sessions may be 3-4 weeks. After an active period of at least 3-4 sessions, it can be applied as reminder sessions at 6-9 month intervals. We recommend applying these pharmacological molecules that our skin needs regularly throughout life.
What kind of effect is observed after Mesotherapy applied to the face?
Mesotherapy enables our skin to gain a bright, lively, natural and radiant appearance as a result of the application of pharmacological molecules such as hyaluronic acid, vitamins, coenzymes and minerals that our skin needs. A wide variety of mesotherapy products are applied to the face and neck area.
What are the conditions that may develop after mesotherapy application?
After mesotherapy application, conditions such as redness, tiny bleeding points, bruising, infection, allergic reactions, burning and itching may occur. However, these conditions usually resolve spontaneously within 6-12 hours. For those who want to keep bruising and swelling to a minimum, it is recommended to apply ice intermittently on the first day and avoid strenuous physical activities until the next morning. At least 3 days before injection; Ginkgo alkaloids, anti-aggregating drugs, high doses of vitamin E, green tea, aspirin and non-steroidal anti-inflammatory (rheumatic) drugs should not be used.
