Lower Eyelid Surgery
When this curtain loses its flexibility over time and cannot prevent the fatty tissue behind it, this fatty tissue will herniate forward and cause bags in the lower eyelid. In addition, bags and swelling under the eyes will prevent the muscles around the eyes from working smoothly, causing fatigue in the eyes. Therefore, surgical intervention on the lower eyelids can reduce the appearance of bags and swelling and provide a more vibrant and rested appearance. For lower eyelid aesthetics, the incision can be made just below the eyelash line or on the inside of the lower eyelid. Since the incision is made from the inside of the lid, no incision is aesthetically visible from the outside. By entering through these incisions, excess fat, muscle tissue and sagging skin that cause bags in the lower eyelid are removed, correcting vision problems and giving the face a more rested and youthful appearance. If the patient will undergo both lower and upper eyelid aesthetics in the same session, priority is usually given to the upper eyelid aesthetics.
